A local shop by local people, to misquote The League of Gentlemen…

Not only are we, the Fosters, a local family but our staff all come from the local area too. We all know the local communities well, not only have our children grown up and gone to schools locally but we have watched our customer’s children grow and in some cases go on to have children of their own.

Giving back to the community is part of being a local shop which is why we support the local schools with prizes for their various school fairs and our chosen charity that our shops collect for is the Children’s Trust at Tadworth which does so much for children with brain injuries.

As a business we try to re-invest in the local economy, we use local independent greengrocers for the salad supplies at each of our shops and in addition to this all of our other suppliers are based in the South East with most of them being in Surrey, London and Kent. Even our flour is milled just north of London.

So, shop local with us. Not only are you boosting your local economy, but you are also keeping down the food miles.
